Talib Jasir, CPC, ELI-MP - Professional Business Coach for Creatives and Entrepreneurs

Who Talib Jasir Is

Talib Jasir is a coach who works with creatives and entrepreneurs navigating self-doubt, visibility fears, and the internal barriers that keep them stuck. His approach is direct, grounded, and culturally aware. He doesn't do coaching clichés or generic self-help talk.

He created Grumpy Wizdom: The Live Show to bring coaching conversations out of private sessions and into public view. The show is about dismantling the socialized mindsets that hold people back: imposter syndrome, respectability conditioning, perfectionism, avoidance, and fear of being seen.

Background

Talib Jasir has spent years coaching individuals and groups through major transitions, creative blocks, and entrepreneurial challenges. He understands what it means to navigate systems that weren't built with you in mind. His coaching centers cultural context, lived experience, and practical action.

Philosophy

Talib Jasir believes that most people already know what they need to do. The work is about clearing the noise, naming the patterns, and building the capacity to act. Coaching is not about fixing people. It's about helping them see what's in the way and giving them tools to move through it.

Beyond the Show

In addition to hosting Grumpy Wizdom, Talib Jasir works with clients in 1-on-1 and group coaching settings. He also consults with organizations on creating culturally responsive coaching and leadership development programs.

How Talib Coaches

Direct and Clear

No beating around the bush. No softening hard truths with poetic language. Coaching should be clear enough to act on.

Culturally Grounded

Identity, context, and lived experience matter. Coaching that ignores these things misses the full picture.

Action-Oriented

Insight without action is just a good conversation. The goal is to help you move different and urgently.

Compassionate Without Coddling

Encouragement matters. But so does accountability. Growth happens in the tension between the two.

What Drives This Work

Visibility is a practice

Most people wait to be ready before they show up. Readiness comes from showing up.

Perfectionism is a cage

The need to be perfect keeps you safe. It also keeps you small.

Context shapes everything

Your challenges don't exist in a vacuum. Neither should your growth.

You don't have to do this alone

Isolation is part of the problem. Community and support are part of the solution.
